Core42

Core42 is G42's dedicated sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure subsidiary, providing the compute, data centre and cloud services layer that other G42 companies - and external government and enterprise customers - build AI applications on top of. Its pitch is "sovereign AI": compute and data that stays within a customer's own jurisdiction, a proposition that has made it a partner of choice for governments wary of routing sensitive workloads through infrastructure controlled by a foreign hyperscaler.

Core42 has expanded well beyond the UAE through 2026, including a 42-megawatt expansion of its US AI infrastructure at the Lake Mariner site in New York (taking that site's total capacity from 18MW to 60MW), a partnership with e& UAE to deliver sovereign AI compute domestically, and a partnership with Solutions+ to build sovereign AI infrastructure across MIC Group and Abu Dhabi government entities.
