  • The UAE’s AI story gets more interesting when it reaches the factory floor. Everyone covers Gulf AI events. Almost no one covers where the AI actually gets built into physical products - and that gap is exactly why Make It In The Emirates deserves more scrutiny than it usually gets. MIITE's Intelligence Hub and Quality Hub sit alongside its main manufacturing exhibition, translating "AI-enabled production" from a slide in someone's investor deck into a working factory-floor question: which sensors, which quality-control systems, which supply chains actually get funded. Nakoda AI News Tied explicitly to the UAE's "Operation 300bn" industrial strategy, with senior government figures like Minister Dr. Sultan Al Jaber on stage, MIITE functions less like a trade show and more like a policy execution checkpoint - a place where industrial targets either get real capital behind them, or don't. For manufacturers, industrialists and supply-chain companies, the structured Investor Programme matters more here than any keynote. Watching whether the AED 180 billion offtake figure from the last edition gets matched or exceeded is a genuinely useful proxy for how seriously that industrial strategy is landing. #MakeItInTheEmirates #IndustrialStrategy #Operation300bn #UAEManufacturing Make It In TheEmirates Industrial Strategy Operation 300bn UAE Manufacturing Nakoda AI Strategy Uncut Ministry of Industry & Advanced Technology | وزارة الصناعة والتكنولوجيا المتقدمة ADNEC Group ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi Make it in the Emirates Emirates Development Bank (EDB) Nakoda AI News Strategy Uncut

  • Sharjah is putting kids on the startup agenda. Sharjah is about to host its 10th Entrepreneurship Festival - and the milestone edition is doubling down on an audience most startup events ignore entirely: kids. Set for 30-31 January at SPARK, SEF has grown into a genuinely mainstream event, drawing 14,000+ attendees and 300+ speakers past editions have included Steven Bartlett, Shazam founder Chris Barton, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Sebastian Vettel, a lineup that reads more like a culture festival than a startup pitch day. Nakoda AI News But the piece worth watching is "Sharjah's Little Founders," SEF's youth-focused entrepreneurship track. Run by Sheraa (Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center), it's a bet that building an entrepreneurial pipeline starts a decade before founders actually raise their first round - not something most business events invest real programming in. Combined with an AED 200,000 pitch competition and the Seffy Awards recognizing regional entrepreneurs, SEF's 10th edition is shaping up as both a celebration and a stress test of whether Sharjah's youth-first bet has actually produced founders yet. #SharjahEF #Sheraa #Entrepreneurship #StartupUAE #YouthInnovation #SharjahEntrepreneurshipFestival #AIEventsinSharjah Sharjah EF Sheraa Entrepreneurship Startup UAE Youth Innovation Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival AI Events in Sharjah Events in Sharjah Nakoda AI News Nakoda AI Nakoda AI News AI Events Dubai AI Events UAE AI Events in Dubai AI Events in UAE AI in UAE AI in Dubai Nakoda AI Strategy Uncut Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa) Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SPARK) Nakoda AI News Strategy Uncut

  • $32,000 for a legal AI problem, at a physical AI summit. $32,000 is on the table for anyone who can crack Machines Can See's Agentic Legal RAG Challenge - and the fact that a physical-AI-themed summit is running a legal-reasoning competition tells you something about where "agentic AI" conversations are actually heading. Retrieval-augmented generation applied to legal reasoning is a notoriously hard, high-stakes problem - get it wrong and you're not just generating a bad chatbot answer, you're generating bad legal analysis. Running that as a public, prize-backed challenge alongside live robotics demos suggests organizers see agentic AI's real test not in flashy hardware, but in whether these systems can be trusted with judgment-heavy, high-liability tasks. Nakoda AI News That's a more mature framing than most "look what our robot can do" demos offer. Past editions have drawn speakers from Carnegie Mellon, Stanford and robotics firm Skild AI - academic rigor alongside the showcase element. Worth tracking who actually wins the challenge, and whether their approach gets adopted anywhere beyond the competition stage. #MachinesCanSee #AgenticAI #RAG #AIResearch #LegalTech #NakodaAI Machines Can See Agentic AI RAG AI Research Legal Tech Nakoda AI News Nakoda AI Nakoda AI News AI Events Dubai AI Events UAE AI Events in Dubai AI Events in UAE AI in UAE AI in Dubai Nakoda AI Strategy Uncut Machine Can See Polynome Artificial Intelligence Office (UAE) Nakoda AI News Alexander Khanin Strategy Uncut

FAQs

Straight answers, by division.

How do engagements usually start?

With a scoped assessment rather than a proposal. Depending on the division that means an AI Readiness Assessment, a governance gap assessment, an audit scoping session, an AI Visibility Audit, a pathway mapping session or a training needs analysis. Each produces something usable on its own.

What is AI governance and does my organization need it?

AI governance is the set of policies, processes and structures determining how AI is developed, deployed and monitored. If your organization uses any AI - from a customer service chatbot to an automated financial model - you need it. Without governance you face regulatory exposure, accountability gaps and reputational risk. In Dubai, governance is now tied directly to government procurement eligibility through the Dubai AI Seal.

Does Nakoda AI sell AI software or tools?

No. We are an advisory firm. We recommend tools and platforms based on client needs but receive no commission or incentive from any vendor. That independence is a core principle, not a positioning line.

What makes Nakoda AI different from other AI consultancies?

Three things. We cover the full spectrum - from governance and audit through to visibility in AI search - rather than specializing in one area. We are vendor-independent: we do not sell AI software, so recommendations are based entirely on what serves the client. And we are built into the UAE AI ecosystem rather than advising on it from outside.
