Curipod
Curipod · AI-generated, teacher-controlled interactive lessons — no student chatbot access.
As classroom AI-safety policy debates continue, Curipod's decision to never give students direct chatbot access is a concrete example worth featuring on its own.
What it does
A tool that generates interactive lesson slides — polls, word clouds, open-response questions, drawing prompts — from a topic or standard, which teachers run live with the whole class responding in real time.
Why Nakoda noticed it
Curipod is here for a design choice that's easy to skip under pressure to ship AI features fast: it kept AI entirely teacher-initiated and never gave students direct chatbot access — a real safety trade-off other classroom AI tools don't all make.
