Research background
Ng directed the Stanford AI Lab and holds degrees from Carnegie Mellon, MIT and UC Berkeley. He founded the Google Brain deep-learning research team and later ran a roughly 1,300-person AI organisation as VP and Chief Scientist at Baidu.
He founded Landing AI in 2017, where he is Executive Chairman, and is Managing General Partner at AI Fund, which builds new AI companies. His online courses, first through Coursera and now DeepLearning.AI, are among the most widely taken machine-learning curricula in the world.
