Leads TII, the applied-research arm of ATRC and the institute behind the open-weight Falcon language models. She also serves as CEO of QuantumGate, TII's post-quantum cryptography venture, and argued in 2026 that enterprise AI agents need verifiable proof of behaviour, not vendor promises.
Research background
Aaraj holds a PhD with highest distinction in applied cryptography and embedded-systems security from Princeton University, with expertise spanning trusted platforms, security architecture and biometrics. She is TII's second CEO, having succeeded founding CEO Ray O. Johnson in 2024.
