Refund policy
The terms under which fees may be refunded for our services.
Scope
This refund policy applies to all paid services provided by Nakoda, including AI visibility audits, ongoing optimization engagements, consulting sessions and project-based work.
Free audits and reports
The initial AI visibility report offered through this website is provided free of charge. No payment is taken and therefore no refund applies.
Fixed-fee audits
Fixed-fee audit engagements are non-refundable once work has commenced. If you cancel before work begins, a full refund will be issued within 14 business days.
Monthly retainers
Monthly retainer engagements may be cancelled with 30 days written notice. Fees already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable. No further charges will be applied after the notice period.
Project-based work
For project-based engagements, refund terms are specified in the individual scope of work or proposal. Where no specific terms are stated, the following applies: fees for completed milestones are non-refundable; fees for milestones not yet started will be refunded in full.
Disputes
If you believe a refund is warranted outside these terms, contact hello@nakoda.ai with the details of your concern. We will review each case on its merits and respond within 14 business days.
Method of refund
Refunds are processed via the original payment method. Processing times depend on your financial institution but typically take five to ten business days after approval.
